The next generation of TENSEI™ AV Blue is an evolution of the successful, original TENSEI™ AV Series. The revolutionary proprietary Xlink Tech™ Resin system has been incorporated into the existing TENSEI™ AV Blue structure to promote higher modulus and higher elongation. The result is a significantly more carbon-rich structure that increases strength without sacrificing durability. The incorporation of Xlink Tech™ Resin into TENSEI™ AV Blue promotes greater stability and tighter dispersion without compromising ball speed, all in a mid-mid classic Mitsubishi blue profile.
Technology
Aluminum Vapor
Inside a vacuum-sealed chamber, the fiber is coated with aluminum vapor (AV). This AV fiber adds stability, to help achieve the desired EI target. And the weave is tighter and thinner than the previous CK material, which helps prevent shaft ovaling.
XLINK Tech Resin System
XLINK Tech Resin System creates a carbon-rich structure that is stronger and more responsive.
Low Resin Content (L.R.C.) Prepreg
With up to 15% more carbon fiber and 13% less resin than traditional prepregs, L.R.C. allows us to create a higher density of carbon fibers without adding additional weight. The result: Added strength with enhanced feel.
