Faster-swing-speed players are especially well-suited for LST, which delivers less spin and more control on a penetrating trajectory. A new HST (High-Strength Titanium) face, Ti 8-1-1 body, tungsten sole plate and Carbonfly Wrap crown position the CG low/back for faster ball speed with less spin for more distance. Available in both 3-wood and 5-wood to provide gapping solutions. Lofts are adjustable ± 1.5° and lie up to 3° flatter than standard.

  Project X Denali Red is counter-balanced and delivers a high trajectory with mid/high spin, best for a moderate swing tempo. Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black is a low-launch, low-spin option designed to keep torque low under the force of faster swings.
  

  Maximizing your distance and accuracy on long shots from the fairway is accomplished by matching the correct shaft flex for your swing. The goal is to achieve the correct trajectory with the fairway wood, which maximizes distance with the longer woods and minimizes roll with the shorter woods.
  Generally, the same shaft type and flex as your driver will produce the optimal trajectory in fairway woods, but it is not uncommon for players to have a different shaft brand, type and/or flex in their fairway woods since they are ground-impact clubs and may perform differently for some players.
